Optimism vs. Pessimism
I have noticed that most of my TBs have a pessimistic voice, but I am not a pessimistic person. The topics I have felt passionately (of the late [I love that phrase]) about have been of not so happy items or have just evoked my stronger emotions on the more negative side of things. But honestly, I am a happy person! I love God, my family, friends, having fun, bright colors and art. Each of these things have a special meaning to me, but note that this is not the exhaustive list. As a matter of fact, one of the reasons why I started this blog was to talk about the things I was thankful for...I couldn't go to sleep one night an made a huge list of things that I love and cannot live without. I plan to each week on a set day, write about one of these things. SO...on Thursday of each week, my TB will be dedicated to one item on this list. Why did I chose Thursday, you ask? Well, Sunday is the typical day that is supposed to be for church (even though I go on Saturday night) and it just seems like TBing on this day would seem cliche. Monday is today and I don't have time to write another TB (cuz you know, I really do have a life), so Monday won't work. Tuesday, I work my second job so I need to accomplish something other than a blog on that day. Wednesday is another typical day (for most teens) to go to small group church so for the same reason as Sunday, I won't do that. Then that leaves Thursday and Friday (I go to church on Saturday). Friday is a lazy day and Thursday is sooner so Thursday is the magic day! I am actually very excited about this! I can't wait!! What should I call this series of TBs? Hmmmm....thinking...thinking...thinking...uummmm... how about Thankful Thurdays!!! Alliteration always makes things sound more important. Good! I like it. I really can't wait for this Thursday!!
