Well, my good friend Breanna needed to go talk to one of our teachers about taking a test. She was a little nervous and to relieve some of this stress, I picked up the first thing I saw: a pinecone. Now that's not the story so don't think i just let your hopes die. She went to his office, but because she felt funny just sitting there, holding a random pinecone, she put it behind her backpack. The next day I asked if she still had the pinecone and her eyes bugged out; she left it on the floor of his office. We decided we needed to get it back before he noticed it so we went to his office. Since no one was in there, we peeked our heads in. But instead of the pinecone being on the floor where, she left it, it was in the prized position next to the other shrubs on his end table! It was so funny but we still wanted it back so we found our teacher and asked for it back. In exchange, we had a pinecone in every scene of our Drama production. It was so great and we started a group on facebook explaining the history of the pinecone. Oh fun times. Oh! and on the last day of school, we got him a huge (I mean huge: 1 and a 1/2 foot tall) pinecone and signed it for him. As far as I know, the replacement is still there to this day.
